Does God exist?

One continuous locked-off shot, eye level, eight seconds, inside a small dim room. A single window holds the center of the frame. A person in a plain dark coat stands a few feet from the glass, back to the camera, completely still. Outside is an ordinary city street at blue dusk: wet pavement, one streetlamp already lit, cars passing left to right with soft headlights. The only light indoors is the cool thin spill from the window. At the fourth second a small dark bird crosses the pane from left to right and vanishes. The person does not move, does not lift a hand, does not turn. Sound is low room tone, muffled traffic, one distant horn, the faint tick of a radiator, and a slow breath. No music, no speech, no words. The shot simply holds to the end, the streetlamp steady, nothing else arriving.
